This book is not a collection of essays. It’s not some therapeutic exercise. These are letters. Fragments. Confessions. Cries. Some of them were written when I didn’t think I’d live through the night. Others when I started to feel something again—hope, maybe, or just the weight of breath in my chest.
I didn’t write these for sympathy. I wrote them to stay alive. To have something to hold when my hands were empty. To hear my own voice when the silence around me became too loud.
Maybe you know what that’s like. Maybe your darkness wears a different name—but it walks the same halls.
If that’s true, then let this book be a room you can sit in. Not to be fixed. Not to be saved. Just to not be alone.
